The Making Of Our Sidewalk Signage.
Bumblejax is located in the South Lake Union area of Seattle and in the past couple years (mostly this year) the neighborhood has gone bonkers with buildings. Paul Allen’s Vulcan Real Estate owns a significant amount of land here in SLU and buildings have been going up everywhere. Amazon just moved in to the area a few months ago and the foot and car traffic has increased tenfold. With all of our new friends in the area, I figured it was time for a good ol’ sidewalk sign. The goal of the sidewalk signage was to increase brand awareness, advertise a special offer to passersby and to hang actual samples of our work on both sides of the sidewalk sign.
Bumblejax is an e-commerce business which makes it harder to be part of the local business community when we aren’t really a brick and mortar outfit. I really wanted to connect with people in our neighborhood and, even though we are a website driven business, I thought a sidewalk sign would be a fun way for people to get to know about us and us to get to know them.
If you are in the area, come on in and say hi, I’d love to chat with you.
